The Gladiators continued their strong start under new coach Antonio Knox with their first shutout of the season.

Gary Simon recorded an interception and caught a touchdown pass from Devontae White. Simon also had a punt return for a touchdown that was called back on a penalty.

White scored on a quarterback keeper and Emmanuel Stewart had a short touchdown run.

Gibbs received a scare when Stewart left in the first half with what appeared to be a sprained knee. Knox said he kept Stewart out for precautionary reasons but will not know the extent of the injury until Stewart is evaluated this weekend.
