Jefferson did what it wanted Friday, staying healthy and on a roll heading into the playoffs with a 56-0 win at Blake.

Deiondre Porter accounted for all five first-half touchdowns as the Dragons went up 35-0, then Porter enjoyed the second half from the bench.

“We got to work in a lot of our second team, which was good,” Jefferson coach Jeremy Earle said. “Next week is senior night; we’ll get some work in and then get ready to go to Largo.”

Jefferson (8-1) finished with a 7-1 mark in Class 6A, District 8, good for second place and a postseason berth opposite host Largo.

Before that, the Dragons face Steinbrenner.

Blake finished 2-8, 2-6.
