Football: Lakeland Christian 49, Shorecrest 28

The Chargers (2-6) used their running game to score but were unable to snap a two-game losing streak in a 49-28 loss to Lakeland Christian on Friday.

Shorecrest plays Landmark Christian next week in the final home game of coach Phil Hayford’s 33 years at the school.
