Land O'Lakes coach Matt Kitchie was named the Tampa Bay Buccaneers high school coach of the week after a 21-17 win at Mitchell. The victory helped the Gators clinch their 13th consecutive playoff berth, their first under Kitchie.

Kitchie was invited to practice and brought along players Stevie Weatherford and Tyler Peak, as well as assistant Jason Hatcher.

"The experience was wonderful," Kitchie said. "They took us on a tour of One Buc Palace. It was neat for Tyler and Stevie to see how much bigger the players were."

Kitchie was presented with a football, a plaque and a hat. The Bucs also donated $1,000 to the Land O'Lakes football program.
