Dunedin had a furious rally, scoring 28 in the fourth quarter to pull within three points. But the comeback fell short as a Falcons defender jumped offside on fourth down, allowing Lennard to run out the clock for the win.
The Falcons committed four turnovers on their first five possessions and fell behind 28-7 at the half. In the second half, Dunedin got its running game going as Tramaine Batten scored three times and Doug Forman and Anthony Diviney each scored once.
