It was a night of firsts for this group of Tigers. A two-game winning streak and better yet, a victorious bus ride home.

“That was a very good bus ride,” said Middleton  coach Alonzo Ashwood. “It wasn’t like a party, but it’s usually quiet.”

His team nearly shut out Leto (0-7) but for a touchdown on the  last play. Standout receiver Anthony Rhynes went over the 1,000-yard mark and caught three of Marcellus Ray’s four touchdown passes.
