Led by a defense that forced five turnovers, Nature Coast left Eustis with a workmanlike 35-8 victory over the Panthers.

The Sharks’ Isaac Bailey picked off a pass and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown on the second play of the game.
Bailey’s second score came on a touchdown run that gave Nature Coast (5-3, 3-3) a 14-0 lead at halftime.

Brenton Nuby threw a long touchdown pass to Ja’Juan Story for a 21-0 Sharks lead after halftime.

Nature Coast stifled Eustis (0-9, 0-6) all night, especially in the red zone, where the Sharks came up with two goal-line stands and intercepted two passes in the end zone.

“We played well, but it wasn’t perfect,” Nature Coast coach Mark Nash said. “The defense played really well. ”
