The decision to commit to North Carolina A&T was not difficult for Nature Coast tight end Braddie Ellison.
He had sniffs from Charleston Southern and Florida International, but no firm offers. So when A&T offered, Ellison jumped on it.
"They offered me the best for my ability," Ellison said. "They also offered what I'm looking for. They came to me with the best opportunity."
Ellison took an official visit to the school and liked what he saw and heard. He equated the football team to a family, a word often used by Sharks' coaches to describe their locker room.
"I like the atmosphere," Ellison said. "...I want to be a part of their tradition."
Ellison said he will play tight end at A&T. He had eight catches for 260 yards and three touchdowns as a senior for the Sharks.
"They said I would fit right in with the type of offense they're running," Ellison said. "I really like it there."
