Tevin Drake spent part of Monday morning eating breakfast at the head coach's house alongside potential teammates.

So far, Nature Coast's star running back is enjoying his official visit to Western Michigan.

For the first time, Drake has seen snow - a lot of snow.

Drake said there was plenty of white stuff on the ground, the type you can mold into snowballs. Most had already fallen to the ground by the time he arrived Saturday.

"I've never seen snow, I'm from Brooksville," Drake said. " It's different. I'd have to get used."

That doesn't mean he hasn't enjoyed the snow.

So far, the highlight of the trip was tubing down snowy hills with potential teammates. Though no one from the bay area is on this trip, Drake said there are fellow Floridians from Miami and Fort Myers.

Drake, who received an offer from the Broncos on Monday, said he met with the offensive line and running backs coaches and talked football, specifically going over the types of formations and plays Western Michigan runs.

Drake said he was impressed with the big football stadium and the weight room.

"The trip went good," Drake said. "They kept us busy."

Next week, Drake has an official visit scheduled to Marshall. He has scholarship offers from Marshall, Florida International, Florida Atlantic and Memphis.
