SEMINOLE — Osceola’s three-headed monster — better known as running backs Jamil Morris, Quadarius Patterson and Wilan Harvey — led a strong ground attack in a 49-0 win over Dunedin.

The trio, closing in on 1,000 yards for the season, helped Osceola rack up 292 yards rushing Friday.

Morris, a senior, tore through the Falcons defense for 78 yards and three touchdowns.

“I wanted a hundred yards and at least two touchdowns,” Morris said.

Following close behind, fellow senior Patterson rushed for 59 yards, scoring a touchdown at the end of the first quarter.

The pair has played together since little league football, Morris said. The established familiarity has helped their game.

By the end of the first half, the Warriors were up 35-0.

“We’re hitting better and we’re taking hits better,” said coach George Palmer, noting the need for first downs and keep the clock running. “In our offense, we really need three backs to be able to share the ball to keep the defense off balance.”

Dunedin didn’t help itself with two fumbles, and Harvey intercepted a pass attempt in the third quarter.
