Pasco rising seniors Jamie Byrd and Hakeeme Ishmar were invited to visit Georgia this weekend for a family weekend. Byrd is taking the visit with family while Ishmar is not able to attend.

Georgia's invitation marks the biggest move in Byrd recruitment thus far. He's coming off a stellar junior season earning Times first-team all-Suncoast honors as well as being named a junior All-American.

Byrd, who can play linebacker and in the secondary, led the Pirates with 129 tackles, six sacks and four fumble recoveries. He and Ishmar have had interest from Cincinatti, Rutgers and Illinois. Ishmar also has interest from Duke and Notre Dame.
