Add West Virginia to the growing list of Division I schools to offer Plant City junior Jordan Prestwood a scholarship.

Prestwood, who is on the ESPNU 150 Class of 2012 watch list, also owns offers from Purdue, South Carolina, UCF, USF and FIU.

Plant City coach Jason Strunk said West Virginia likes Prestwood as an offensive tackle. All other schools recruiting him, except for UCF (which is recruiting him as tight end), are also recruiting him as tackle. This season as a tight end, Prestwood caught 26 passes for 311 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Strunk said Prestwood is now 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds and said college coaches believe he could grow to by 6-foot-8 and 300 pounds by the time he reaches college.

"All the coaches like seeing him play tight end because it shows them what kind of feet he has," Strunk said.

Strunk also said, based on what he was told at this weeks AFCA convention, he expects more Division I offers within the next few days.
