The Chargers opened with a victory over their fiercest rival and matched their win total from a year ago.

Shorecrest dictated the pace the game by relying on the running of Garrett Schulte, Alex Drexler and Ian Johnston-Schmidt.

The Mustangs have struggled offensively and have scored just two points this season counting last week’s preseason game.
