Quarterback Nick Addison accounted for seven touchdowns — six through the air and one on the ground. Addison had three touchdown tosses to Danny Taylor, two to Tyron Baker and one to Tim Adams as the converted quarterback continued his impressive season in his first full year as the Spartans’ starting quarterback.

“We’re pretty pleased with it,” Spoto coach Dale Caparaso said of his team’s newfound aerial attack. “Our kids are settling into this passing thing. They like it.”

Addison’s gaudy numbers are even more impressive given the fact that he didn’t play in the fourth quarter. Taylor and Baker, each racked up more than 100 receiving yards, and Taylor added two scores on the ground.

“Our kids played well. They came out of the blocks very fast,” Caparaso said. “It was the same key guys who did the job.”
