Springstead remained perfect with a 42-7 victory over Central in a Class 6A, District 6 matchup Friday.
Springstead (6-0, 3-0) exploded offensively with a 21-point first quarter. The Eagles struck first on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Joe Jeffords to Latavious Hannah.
Sophomore running back Daniel Wright powered through with a 15-yard score — his seventh of the season — and Pedro Estrada added a 32-yard touchdown catch from quarterback Tyler Mahla at the end of the quarter to help defeat the Bears (1-5, 0-3).
Springstead continued to score thanks to a short touchdown run by Mahla and a fumble return for a touchdown by Ricky Toth.
The Eagles' defense continued a dominant season by holding the Bears to two first-half first downs.
"I think we were very sound," Springstead coach Bill Vonada said. "We tackled well."
Central's lone score came on a touchdown pass from Cole Teater to Devon Ferril.
