Football: Weeki Wachee 42, Interlachen 6

Sophomore quarterback Alec Cromie made his varsity debut a memorable one, throwing for five touchdowns in the first half as the Hornets beat Interlachen for the third straight season.

Cromie threw a pair of touchdowns to wide receiver Dayonta Patterson and running back Shawn O’Gorman, and one to Damion Kemper.

O’Gorman also added a 15-yard touchdown run to help the Hornets to a 42-6 halftime lead.

O’Gorman returned the second-half TD all the way, but it was called back because of a penalty.
