Former Palm Harbor University quarterback Sean Shelton has been named Beyond Sports Network's Division II offensive player of the week after his performance for William Jewell College against South Dakota State School of Mines and Technology.

Shelton was 26-of-49 for 306 yards and five touchdowns in a 48-21 road win.

Shelton, who was named a Times' all-Pinellas first-teamer as a senior at PHU, has thrown nine touchdown passes in the past two games for Jewell College. The school is located in Liberty, Mo.
