The bay area will be well-represented at the FABC girls basketball all-star game on March 12 in Ocala. Of the 17 confirmed to play in the game, five are from Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties.

The local selections are Gulf’s Nicole Adams, Boca Ciega’s Tamara Taylor, Freedom’s Kaitlynn Pacholke, Tampa Bay Tech’s Dasia Daniels and Sickles’ Amber Henson.

Taylor (USF), Pacholke (Jacksonville State), Adams (Winthrop) and Henson (Duke) have already made their college choices and were nominated as McDonald’s All-Americans last week. Daniels still is uncommitted.

The game will be played at Vanguard High in Ocala. Tipoff is 5 p.m.
