Rivals’ latest national recruiting rankings have four Tampa Bay athletes in the top 100. The names shouldn’t surprise you.

Wharton DB Vernon Hargreaves is No. 7 on the list, which was updated today. The UF commit is a five-star prospect.

Armwood DB Leon McQuay III is No. 18. The four-star recruit has offers from FSU, USC, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame and others.

St. Petersburg Catholic RB Ryan Green is No. 43. He’s the site’s seventh-ranked running back and a four-star recruit committed to FSU.

The final area player on the list was one of the site’s biggest risers – Armwood WR Alvin Bailey. The four-star prospect, who is considering UCF, UF, FSU, Notre Dame and Georgia, jumped 39 spots.

And oh, what do you know? Those four are also the top players in our HomeTeam 100, which we finished up over the weekend. How 'bout that?

One other player of note: Winter Park QB Asiantii Woulard leapt from three-star status to No. 87 on the list. The USF commit joined Bailey as one of Rivals’ biggest surprises in the updated rankings.
