Freedom senior defensive back Zach Romp has committed to Berry College in Georgia, according to coach Todd Donohoe.

Last fall, the 5-foot-9, 166-pound Romp had 37 tackles, two interceptions and defended six passes for the Patriots.

Berry College is a private liberal arts college of about 1,900 students in northwest Georgia. Romp will be part of the school’s first football team, which will start its Division III program in the fall.
