With 12 points in her final high school game, Freedom senior guard Kaitlynn Pacholke surpassed the career 1,000-point mark in the Patriots' season-ending 63-55 loss to Naples Gulf Coast in Thursday's Class 5A region quarterfinals.

Pacholke, who has signed to play at Jacksonville State, ended her high school career with 1,007 points. She also tallied 716 assists.

The speedy 5-foot-4 guard averaged 15.4 points, 8.7 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 5.4 steals a game for the Patriots, who won the 5A-9 district tournament title with a 68-65 win over Sickles 10 days ago.
