Freedom pitcher Grace Street has orally committed to play softball at Rollins College, Patriots coach Autum Hernandez said Tuesday in an email.

Street earned second-team all-county honors as a sophomore last spring. She posted an 8-0 record with a 0.92 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 68.1 innings for the Class 7A state runnerup.

Street also batted .382 with six doubles and three triples for the 22-4 Patriots.

Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign letters of intent during their senior years.
