Gaither DB Tyler McCollum commits to Colgate

Gaither DB Tyler McCollum, who intercepted five passes on the year, including two in a 38-30, come-from-behind win in the first round of the playoffs against Durant, has committed to Colgate, Cowboys head coach Jason Stokes said.

In addition to his interceptions, McCollum tallied 52 total tackles, one sack, one caused fumble and one blocked field goal for Gaither (9-4), which advanced to the Class 7A regional final against Lakeland.
