Land O’Lakes lineman Will Fairchild has committed to play football at Carthage College, Gators coach Brian Wachtel said Wednesday in a text message.

Fairchild, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound guard/defensive end, ranked third on the team in tackles (57) last fall. He also had a sack and a fumble recovery and blocked a punt for a touchdown against River Ridge.

Carthage College is an NCAA Division III school in Kenosha, Wisc. The Red Men finished 5-5 last season.
