Land O’Lakes left-handed pitcher Brad Hencke has verbally committed to the University of Tampa, Gators coach Calvin Baisley said.

Hencke was a second-team all-North Suncoast selection as a junior. He posted a 2.64 ERA and held opponents to a .185 batting average last season. Hencke struck out 64 batters and walked 26 in 58.1 innings. He was 5-0 in his 12 starts.
