THE LATEST: Florida offered Bailey during his visit to Gainesville on Wednesday, Hawks coach Sean Callahan confirmed. A quarterback out of necessity last season, he’s projected as a receiver at the next level.
OFFERS: A month ago, Bailey gave his “top eight” schools to the Times and Florida wasn’t on the list. At that time, he was favoring UCF, Georgia, FSU, South Carolina, Auburn, Texas A&M, Michigan and Notre Dame.
LAST SEASON: The Times’ offensive player of the year for its entire coverage area, Bailey amassed more than 2,200 total yards and 21 touchdowns last season. In two playoff games,  he scored the game-winning fourth-quarter TDs to preserve Armwood’s Class 6A state title run.
THEY SAY: Bailey currently is the 69th-ranked rising senior college prospect in the ESPN150.
