Gators put in offer for Sickles' Ray Ray McCloud III

Sickles running back and defensive back Ray Ray McCloud III has had a big summer pulling in offers, and the latest is one of his biggest yet: the Florida Gators.

McCloud, who is 5-10, 174 pounds, was offered by UF on Monday. The junior also has offers from Clemson, Louisville, Tennessee, Kentucky, USF and Wisconsin, to name a few.

Despite being known in Tampa Bay as a top running back, McCloud has been earning plenty of acclaim this offseason for his work as a defensive back, and many of his offers are for him to play that position at the next level.

Last year as a sophomore, McCloud rushed for 1,319 yards and 12 touchdowns. He had 100-yard efforts in eight of his 10 games.
