Matt Breida, RB, Nature Coast (5-foot-10, 168 pounds)

The latest: Georgia Southern became the latest program to offer the Sharks junior, NCT assistant Rob Kazmier said Wednesday in a text message. Breida performed well at a Nike combine over the weekend, too. Georgia Southern was busy in Hernando County on Wednesday, also offering Springstead OT Will Allen. Michigan and Harvard also plan to evaluate Breida during spring football.

Offers: Akron, Toledo, UMass, Georgia Southern

Last season: Breida rushed for 20 touchdowns and more than 1,600 yards. He also had one of the best games in county history, a 355-yard outburst against Central.

Bottom line: Breida is a speedy, shifty talent who could play running back or cornerback in college. He was an all-North Suncoast selection last fall and is poised for a big senior season.
