Gibbs linebacker Maurice Hall was shot around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night and is expected to remain in the hospital for a week.

The bullet traveled through Hall's side, into his stomach and part of his colon. The junior, who already has been offered by Oklahoma, will not play the rest of the season.

"I'm really praying for him," coach Antonio Knox said. "This was his way out. I don't want to see him get caught up in the streets."
