Gibbs star Tim Jackson has three in front … for now

Gibbs DE Tim Jackson said Saturday that the three schools he has taken official visits to -- North Carolina, Stanford and Wake Forest -- are currently the teams at the top of his list.

He still, however, plans to make two more officials.

The question is, who will get those visits?

Jackson said a handful of schools are vying for those spots. Included in that group are three programs that have offered him a scholarship (Iowa State, Kentucky and Vanderbilt) and three that have not (Florida State, Kansas and Michigan).

The dust should settle sometime shortly after Jan. 23, the weekend the 6-foot-5, 220-pound standout plans to take his final trip.
