Senior guard Amber Jennings confirmed that she has left East Lake and has enrolled at Palm Harbor University.

Jennings was a three-year starter for the Eagles and helped East Lake to a region playoff appearance in 2012. She joins a Palm Harbor team that should be talented. Top scorers Megan Ingram and Kaylin Ingram both return, as does Chardonay Aldrich, who averaged 7.9 points as a sophomore.

Jennings' transfer came before head coach Steve Plummer left the school to become an assistant principal at Dunedin. East Lake has not yet filled its head coaching position.
