Tampa Catholic guard Micah Kroll has had quite a start to her senior season. In the Crusaders' season opener on Tuesday, Kroll scored her 1,000th career point in a 67-47 loss to Indian Rocks Christian.

She not only became the third Tampa Catholic girls basketball player to reach 1000 points in as many years, but she joined her father, Mike, in TC's 1,000-point club, becoming the school's first father/daughter combo to reach the milestone.

Mike Kroll scored 1,485 career points at TC from 1968 to '72. Then on Saturday, Micah Kroll followed that feat by scoring a career-high 31 points (including 4 for 5 from 3-point range) anid leading the Crusaders to a 68-67 win over Gulf.
