Hillsborough County's second-leading scorer during last year's girls basketball season will be playing for her third school in as many years.

Shaunice Hobbs, who averaged 20.2 points a game last season at Freedom as a junior, has transferred to Tampa Bay Tech, Freedom coach Laurie Pacholke confirmed Wednesday.

The 5-foot-8 Hobbs, whose scoring average trailed only Sickles center Amber Henson, also averaged 7.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 3.6 steals last season, helping the Patriots to a 19-6 record.

Last season, Hobbs transferred to Freedom from Brooks-DeBartolo.

Hobbs' arrival at Tampa Bay Tech gives the Titans a dynamic scoring combination along with returning senior guard Dasia Daniels, who led the team with 14.5 points a game. TBT also added Blake transfer Erica Young (14.2 points, 8.9 rebounds last season), a sophomore who missed most of her freshman season with a knee injury.

Freedom still returns two double digit scorers in point guard Kaitlin Pacholke (11.7 points, 8.2 assists, 5.5 steals) and center Lindsay Taggart (11.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.7 blocks).
