Countryside senior golfer Madison Glennie was named to the American Junior Golf Association girls all-academic team. Glennie was one of 12 players nationally honored, and the first local girls golfer since Shane Crutchfield two years ago.

Glennie is in the National Honor Society and has a 4.558 weighted grade-point average. She also scored a 33 on the ACT.

On the golf course, the Drake University commit has a nine-hole average of 35. She recently shot 2-under 34 at Bardmoor. She posted four top-15 finishes in AJGA events over the summer.
