Sickles senior-to-be fullback Cary White, who ran for nearly 1,600 yards in 2009, has received his first scholarship offers, including one from Division I Western Kentucky. Gryphons coach Pat O'Brien confirmed the offer.

Towson (Md.) University, a I-AA program near Baltimore, also has offered, O'Brien said.

White ran for 230 yards and three touchdowns -- of 80, 66 and 24 yards -- in Friday's one-half 28-14 spring jamboree triumph against Jesuit.
