Gulf has posted its head football coaching position on Pasco County Schools’ employment website.
The Buccaneers are looking for their fourth coach in five seasons after the departure of Tom Carter. Gulf athletic director Travis DeWalt said the longtime former Land O’Lakes assistant resigned last week after finishing 2-18 in two seasons as head coach. The school plans to hire a new coach by the start of spring football, DeWalt said.
For more information, contact the school at (727) 774-3300 or 352-524-3300. The advertisement expires Friday.
Two other North Suncoast coaching positions are also open. Wesley Chapel and Wiregrass Ranch are conducting interviews this week with hopes of filling the position before the start of winter break.
