Gulf coach Tom Carter has been invited to work at the NFL Play 60 Character Camp next month at Raymond James Stadium.

The camp, for children ages 9-13, runs from 9 a.m. until noon on Aug. 9-10. Current and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers are expected to participate in the camp, which caters to inner-city youth and focuses on using football to promote exercise and life lessons.

Carter is starting his second season as Gulf’s head coach and previously served as an assistant at Land O’Lakes.
