Chris Palasky, the leading tackler from a Gulf squad that finished the 2010 season 6-4, has committed to Division III power Mount Union.

Palasky recorded 81 tackles (37 solo) as a linebacker for the Buccaneers. He was an All-Sunshine Athletic Conference third team pick at linebacker and was listed on the St. Petersburg Times' All-North Suncoast team as an honorable mention selection.

Mount Union has claimed ten NCAA Division III National Championships since 1993. The Purple Raiders last won a championship in 2008. They have been runners-up the past two seasons and have played in the last six championship games.

Palasky plans to study Sports Business at Mount Union.
