Sporting a new, military-style haircut, Jesuit RB/MLB Anthony Harrell said Sunday he plans to visit North Carolina State the first weekend in August.
Harrell (6-foot-1, 218 pounds), who competed with the Tigers at USF's Sling-n-Shoot seven-on-seven tournament over the weekend, has roughly a dozen Division I offers at this point. He said he has no finalists and no timetable for a decision.
As widely expected, Harrell transferred from Freedom early last week to join his dad, new Jesuit coach James Harrell. Among the sacrifices he was forced to make to comply with Jesuit's entrance requirements: cutting his beloved shoulder-length dreadlocks.
"You do what you've got to do," he said.
