Armwood sophomore tailback Matt Jones, the Hawks' leading rusher, has been suspended for tonight's game against Chamberlain for an unspecified violation of team rules, Coach Sean Callahan confirmed.

The suspension is only for tonight, Callahan noted, meaning Jones (52 carries, 358 yards, four TDs) should return for next week's Class 4A, District 9 showdown against Hillsborough. He likely would have received a minimal amount of handoffs tonight anyway.

Callahan is expected to empty his bench early against Chamberlain (0-6), which has been outscored 208-35 this season.
