Weeki Wachee lineman Brendan Clifton has signed with Methodist University in Fayetteville, N.C.

The 5-foot-11, 240-pound senior was a three-starter for the Hornets. He had 19 tackles last fall.

Springstead DL Shane Wiggins signed with North Carolina Wesleyan, an NCAA Division III program.

Wiggins helped take the Eagles to the deepest playoff run in Hernando County history with 67 tackles, three forced fumbles and five sacks as a senior last fall.
