Hernando's Brown signs with Florida Tech

Hernando guard Jasmire Brown has signed a letter of intent with Florida Tech, Leopards coach Kevin Bittinger wrote in an e-mail.

Brown helped guide Hernando to a 12-12 finish. She led the Leopards in several categories, including scoring (20.1 ppg), rebounds (9.2 rpg), assists (3.2 apg) and steals (4.8 spg).

Brown had a season-high 35 points in a 53-49 loss to Nature Coast on Jan. 22. She scored 20 or more points in 12 games last season.
