Times’ Super Seven
Records through Wednesday

1 Jesuit (16-1): Tigers pounced all over rival Tampa Catholic in a 13-5 win Saturday and will be looking to devour a few out-of-state teams in their Easter Tournament

2. Jefferson (16-4): With a team ERA under 2.00 and a batting average right around .300, the Dragons are well-armed for a deep playoff run

3. Bloomingdale (17-3): Going into their district game against Plant, the Bulls had built a two-game lead atop the 8A-7 standings.

4. Wharton (14-6): Pulled off the rare triple playlast week vs. Plant. The Wildcats have had the ball bounce their way many times this season.

5. Steinbrenner (12-6): Heading into their district game with second-place Freedom, the Warriors haven’t lost since the Saladino Tournament.

6. Plant (13-5): Panthers have the pitching and hitting, but will likely need to clean up defense before the district tournament (four errors in the past two games)

7. Freedom (13-4): Largely untested, but the Patriots do have a few hot bats in their lineup that are problematic for any opponent

Just a bit outside: Alonso (10-7), Brandon (10-8), Durant (9-7), Riverview (11-6), Strawberry Crest (11-5), Tampa Catholic (10-5)
