Class 5A: Countryside (12-0) at Plant (10-2), 7:30
Winner faces: Fleming Island-Lakeland winner in state semifinals Dec. 10.
Who’s hot for Countryside: Diomi Roberts, who was ruled eligible for this game despite two personal foul penalties last week after officials overturned the second penalty, racked up 153 yards and two touchdowns on the ground as the Cougars beat Tampa Bay Tech 34-21 last week. QB Gray Crow added 161 yards and two scores on 8-of-13 passing.
Who’s hot for Plant: QB Phillip Ely looked as good as he ever has in last week’s 50-23 romp over Newsome. He threw for 351 yards and five scores on 18-of-23 passing and added a rushing TD for good measure. Defensively, safety Drew Madhu led the Panthers with 17 tackles. DBs Eric Patterson and Paris Bostick chipped in with 11 tackles each.

Who’s hot for Charlotte: Senior RB Mike Bellamy, who has run for 2,352 yards and 41 — yes, 41 — TDs out of the Tarpons’ wing-T look. The Charlotte defense has allowed 11 points in the playoffs.
Who’s hot for Armwood: How about the unheralded offensive line, helping Armwood churn out 244 rushing yards a game. Essentially the same O-line — LT Kevin Williams, LG Cody Waldrop, C Cameron Dees, RG Antonio Booth and RT Kevin McCoy — has started every game.

Class 3A: Ocala Vanguard (10-2) at Jefferson (12-0), 7:30
Winner faces: Pensacola-St. Augustine winner in state semifinals Dec. 10.
Who’s hot for Vanguard: The defense, which has allowed just six points in two region tournament games.
Who’s hot for Jefferson: RB Demetrius Russell is averaging 90 rushing yards in his past five games and has scored 10 of his 14 TDs in that span. QB Quentin Williams has 3,622 passing yards and 49 touchdown passes and is averaging 86.5 rushing yards in two playoff games.

Class 2A: Belle Glade Glades Central (11-1) at Robinson (10-2), 7:30
Winner faces: Cocoa-Madison County winner in state title game Dec. 11.
Who’s hot for Glades Central: Senior QB Jamarious Rowley, who passed for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns in last week’s 31-19 victory against Plantation American Heritage. Junior WR Jamie Wilson (126 receiving yards) had one of the TD catches.
Who’s hot for Robinson: Senior RB J.J. Hubbard, who has run for 304 yards and six TDs in the Knights’ two playoff games.
