Girls
1. Newsome (10-0-2): County’s only remaining unbeaten. Another win over Plant tonight can solidify their status as the No. 1 team.
2. Plant (10-1-1): Eight players with five or more points, a testament to their depth.
3. Berkeley Prep (8-3-1): Outscored opponents 27-3 in past seven games, faces Newsome on Friday.
4. Tampa Prep (10-2-2): Add five more goals to Colby Maffei’s total this week for the Terps, who face Plant on Friday.
5. East Bay (6-1-1): Didn’t sleep in 7-0 win over Spoto, following tie against Newsome.
6. Steinbrenner (7-0-2): Allowed a goal in eight games, and we were talking about the offense last week.
7. Bloomingdale (5-3): Needs a big win over formidable program to make its case.
