Baseball Super 7
1. Jesuit (19-1): Won 18 straight, hasn’t allowed more than three runs in past 11 and won first two games of the Jesuit Easter Tournament by a combined 19-1 score.
2. Gaither (14-2): Won 11 straight and are dominating opponents with a lethal lineup that’s running on all cylinders.
3. Alonso (13-4): Throttling opponents, including a 10-run win over a good Steinbrenner team; 1.49 team ERA is the real deal.
4. Brandon (14-4): Back-to-back losses to TBT and Wharton have Eagles stumbling into the Saladino Tournament, but we like their chances, especially given the home-field advantage.
5. Steinbrenner (15-3): Only losses have been to Jesuit and Alonso, and that’s not too bad of a resume.
6. Tampa Catholic (12-4): Plummets after losing three games in Dunedin Tournament;  back on track with a pair of wins at the Catholic Challenge.
7. Plant City (12-5): Makes Super 7 debut after winning eight of past nine, a stretch that includes wins over Durant and Bloomingdale.
In the conversation: Jefferson (11-5), Durant (10-6), Bloomingdale (10-6), Armwood (11-7), Cambridge (15-2)
