Hillsborough QB carousel continues

When Durant showed up for some 7-on-7 action this weekend, the Cougars brought a new face with them: QB Trey VanDeGrift, who had spent the past two seasons starting for Strawberry Crest. The rising junior is one of the many starting quarterbacks who have transferred since the end of last season:

*Former East Bay QB Tajee Fullwood is now at Tampa Bay Tech.

*Former Blake QB Zain Gilmore is now at Robinson.

*Former Robinson QB Vidal Woodruff is attempting to enroll at Carrollwood Day School as a home school student, according to what Patriots head coach Lane McLaughlin and athletic director Baker Mabry told the Times.

*Colby Brown, who started last season at Orlando Olympia, is now at Plant.

*Plant's starting JV QB, Kyle Ploucher, is now at Tampa Catholic, the school he attended as a freshman.
