Female Hot Shot: Audra Leipold, Academy at the Lakes
Skinny: Leipold has quickly proven to be one of the top players on a team appearing in Tuesday’s Class 2A state semifinals. The eighth-grader is a starter and played up to her potential through regionals, scoring 21 in the final and 16 in the semifinal. Coach Karim Nohra described her as one of two game changers for the Wildcats this season.

Male Hot Shot: Malik Hall, Academy at the Lakes
: Basketball
Skinny: The Wildcats host Bayshore Christian in Tuesday’s region semifinals, and one of the keys to their attack will be Hall. The senior is one of the team’s most consistent scorers.
