Matt Baker won the Pick 'Em this week. We tied at 18-2, but he got me on the tiebreaker. He deserves a write up, like all our previous winners.
Matt Baker is from Indiana.
Anyway, the season race, with just three weeks remaining is a real thriller and one for the ages.
Peezy, who it should be noted played for the worst team in Dunedin history for no other reason than I just like to keep reminding him of that, saw his lead shrink to one stinking game (or any of the two times I picked Spoto to win earlier this season...glurk!). Now 127-33 on the season after going 17-3 last week, he can feel my brilliant 126-34 record right on his heels.
At 125-35 is Skurdhidingid, Alejandro Tamayo and Derek LaRiviere, while SHOCK (124), a fading Tom Ketchum (123 after a miserable 15-5 record last week) and Matt Baker and Robert (119) are lurking.
Can we count out Hat-Trick Swayze at 118? Do David C (just 14-6 last week) and TitoG (13-7!) really have a chance at 117-43 overall?
Can Steve S. recover from his last two weeks, a combined 24-16 record, that has dropped him to 116, along with Ankeny Hawk?
Desperate times, people. Desperate times.
I leave you with this -- the games the next three weeks will separate the men, which are apparently the HomeTeam staff and stringers, from the boys, which are the rest of you.
Oooooooooooo! I called you boys!
Snap to it, my people.
