James Tello has played his final game for Hudson.
The standout senior receiver, who leads the area in receptions, is out for the remainder of the year with a separated shoulder.
“He’s done for the season,” Hudson coach Mark Nash said.
The Cobras play at Gainesville on Friday in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs.
Tello was injured two weeks ago, but played last week against Land O’Lakes after getting X-rays and an MRI. He visited a specialist Monday, and he was told not to play any more this fall.
Tello has 74 catches for 988 yards and eight TDs.
Against Land O’Lakes, he caught four passes for 63 yards and one score.
“The last catch of his high school career was a 39-yard TD with no time left on the clock,” Nash said.
